I can see a DLLHOST.EXE*32 in the task manager running under the account that I specified. Configure the source domain to trust the target domain. To me it appears that everything is registered, but it won't run. Also, the Windows Server 2003 must have 128-Bit encryption (which comes as a default setting in Windows 2003).
I have no errors in the event history or in IIS web logs. And I cannot seem to get it to show up there. One thing that I notice is that on the old server, the DataAdministrator object (DataAdministrator.CDataAdministrator) is listed under the expansion of DCOM Config, but on the new server it is not. I have compared the setup between the new server and the old server. In Figure 1 you can see the default values for the TCP/IP parameters key. Figure 1 Viewing the default TCP/IP parameter values. I can find the following error in the COM object's log file:ĪctiveX component can't create object Error: : CDataAdministrator::OpenCatalog To begin, we add these new values to the HKEYLOCALMACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesTcpipparameters key in the Win2k3 registry by using the Registry Editor ( see Figure 1 ). When I run my application the web page hangs.

I am trying to add wireless access to the server and can not set up the CA without the certsrv.exe it keeps prompting me for the file and will not run the setup without it.I have a web application that calls COM objects in a 32-bit DLL. I am forced to migrate from a Windows Server 2003 environment to a Windows Server 2008 R2 environment running IIS 7.5.
I have tried all the similar recommendations.
